Trevor Owens, Public Relations
Trevor Owens is the director of public relations for Son's Light Ministries, and has served as the official Emcee of the High Country Praise Festival. Trevor graduated from Appalachian State University and is now the site director of the after school program for Parkway Schools, where he is also serves as a tutor. He has worked for years to help needy children by running his own organizations "Christmas for a Cause" and "Hymns for a Cause." In both ventures Trevor has worked with local musicians to create inspirational CD's that were used to raise money for the children. Trevor has effectively used his witty charm and connections for fundraising concerts . All of these fine attributes make him a vital asset to the planning and coordinating of Son's Light Ministries programs and events.
Dawn and David Ward, Directors
David and Dawn Ward are the founders and owners of Son's Light Ministries. Nearly 15 years ago the Lord placed a burden on their heart to provide a loving and God centered environment for the youth and college aged students of this community. While they have continued to work full time jobs (coaching and nursing) they have been obedient to the vision the Lord entrusted to them making Son's Light into the God glorifying success that it is today!
Julie Ward, Director of Operations
Julie has played an integral role in Son's Light since its inception. She is the glue that holds us all together. If something is going on at Son's Light she is involved in it. She is a divinely appointed High School Teacher and Coach.
We simply could not do the things we do without the commitment she has to share Jesus everywhere she goes and with everyone she meets.
